‘Ash & Embers’ is the latest instalment from the Dave Mann camp.  Essentially a solo album with the record mixed &  mastered by the Mann himself it also features Roy Martinez on Bass Guitar, Tone Bourke on piano, Jean Guy Lemire on Harmonica and Melbourne’s Jaimi Faulkner adding his guitar playing talents to the mix.

‘Ash & Embers’ is truly a musical journey, from the uplifting and catchy melodies of ‘Willing & Open’ and ‘Sometime Soon’ to the heartfelt soul of ‘the Widow’ and the country blues that is ‘Alysha Sky’. 

‘Ashes & Embers’ was recorded in the winter by the fire at Dave’s house but may just be the ultimate balmy summers evening soundtrack.  Raw  and simplistic yet packed with power & emotion, ‘Ashes & Embers’ is proof that Dave Mann is one of WA’s top Blues & Roots musicians.
